Ann Peel is an Olympian and world-champion race walker, former lawyer, and an award-winning equity activist for athletes’, women’s and children’s rights. She helped found AthletesCAN (the Association of Canada’s National Team Athletes), was executive director of Voices for Children, and then executive director of Right to Play, and is now the Director of the Institute at Havergal College. She has been a major force of policy-making change in Canada.
